Week 4 GDT: Bengals @ Titans

In what is a relatively pivotal game for both teams after starting 1-2, the Bengals come to town fresh off beating the Rams, despite a hobbled Joe Burrow. Meanwhile, our beloved Titans decided not to show up offensively in Cleveland last Sunday, and after what looked like the offense finding a rhythm vs the Chargers, we're stuck back with more questions than answers.

Burrow is certainly not his usual self in dealing with his calf injury, so the Bengals usual deadly passing attack is weakened right now, a nice sight for a Titans secondary that has had it's up and downs so far. If the o-line can hold out against the Bengals solid pass rush led by Trey Hendrickson, a win could be likely. If the o-line, particularly Dillard, struggles again, it likely turns in to another Saints game where the team with the fewest mistakes wins.

Whether we win 30-0 or lose 0-30

On the following Monday, this team will need:

a new qb

A lot of new faces on the OL

a revamped WR room

a number 1 corner

playmaking at the LB position

a consistent pass rush

speed on offense

Better TE play

The wildest part about the offense needing speed is that they talked all offseason about adding speed and we added a WR that hasn’t been active and Spears(the best player on offense so far)

In true Titans fashion, we'll make Joe Burrow look like a Hall of Famer, allowing over 350 yards passing and 4 TDs.

Simultaneously Derrick Henry will have his best game of the year so far, with 125 rushing yards and a screen that actually works for a big gain. 3 total TDs.

Titans win 34-31, getting all of our hopes up unnecessarily, and extending our wait to see what we actually have behind Tannehill, as this will buy him at least 6 more games as a starter, even though we'll go 1-5 after this.

Titans football baby
