That last season the Seahawks barely beat the Rams backups essentially. Another 4th/OT comeback win for Stafford. The Rams essentially did the Seahawks the same thing they did to them in Week 1 and shut them down in the 2nd half. Now the Rams have to beat the Cards next week another team McVay owns. They were up 10-0 early and it felt like they shouldve been up even more bc the Rams were self-destructing with Kupp missing a TD pass, Stafford overthrowing a wide open Henderson that couldve went for another TD at the very least a very long catch and run. Not to mention a 4th and goal stop. You let a team hang around especially a team that has Stafford who is one of the best all-time in 4th/OT comebacks it can come back to bite you and it did. Im not going to say the officiating was good bc when you have that many penalties on both teams its a combo of sloppy play and bad officiating but the Rams overcame them where as the Seahawks didnt. They had a shot at the end to win it and the kicker just missed. Us Rams fans know how it feels to lose bc your kicker couldnt make a kick. You could be right about picking in the top 12 but let me remind you the last two times the Rams had a top 12 pick they took Goff that took them to a Superbowl and has the Lions looking like a Superbowl contender and the Rams took this guy by the name of Aaron Donald. Im sure you heard of him he is one of the best defensive players of all time and helped the Rams win a Superbowl. So I dont think picking in the top 12 is a bad thing if it happens considering who the Rams could get plus having a ton of cap space in 2024 to get back to being Superbowl contenders in a year or two.
