The problem at QB is not necessarily the trade for him (though I wasn't a fan of it), it's that he got hurt, just like Mayfield or anyone else could have, and lack of an experienced true backup caliber guy at #2. Thomas5737 Posted November 23, 2023 Share Posted November 23, 2023 I'll be the broken record: If we would have fired Woods sooner we could have realized we didn't have to sell the farm for a QB. Baker wasn't going to happen here but we could have got a decent QB and drafted someone and been a run focused team with steady QB play and a lot more resources. This is very sadly accurate. People complain about firing a coach too soon. Stefanski needs to start digging into the playbook and get wild. People are gonna realize eventually why Flacco was unemployed a couple weeks ago. He’s better then Pj, but not good.
