So I can retire to Florida and withdraw from my 401k without paying tax on it???? State tax, yep. The feds are gonna get theirs obviously no ducking that. Would also apply to a tIRA or any other tax deferred account since the income isn't recognized on your taxes until you withdraw. You'd only have to live there 50.1% of the year too. That's why east coast retirees move to Florida and west coast retirees move to Arizona, and the wealthy ones only do it for the winter then go back home.

It’s also why people have a second home in those states. You can declare it as your primary residence when it is time to retire, rent it out when you aren’t there and before retirement, vacation there, then write off and depreciate the rental income while hiring a property manager to avoid the day to day headache. Thats also why a lot of people in Ohio buy cabins in Tennessee. Future retirement residence.

There's no way Ippei moved the money from Shohei's account. A loan officer wouldn't allow it so easily. You wouldn't believe the hoops one must go through just to wire 500k to another account or for a purchase. There's something fishy going on. also they seemed to be showing lots of love and laughs during the last out of the game today. Also odd. There's something afoot.
