In addition, when we shuffle Eichenburg from guard to center, we have to put Lester Cotton at guard. Cotton is "good in a phone booth". He's can have a strong anchor and can maul if he gets a solid hold of his guy. But in our zone running scheme we need athletic lineman that move. That's were Cotton can be a liability. It takes away greatly from our running game. Eichenburg has shown he can play as a guard. He's actually had some really nice games at guard for us this season and has made major improvements. But he has struggled a lot at center, imo. And when he's at center and doesn't have Rob Hunt next to him, that's bad. We played with one starter on the o line with Austin Jackson at RT, and it looked like a mess. Couldn't protect in obvious passing downs. Couldn't climb to allow our speedy backs to make big runs.
