His upside is incredible, his downside could sink an emerging franchise. His downside is that he gets hurt and never plays a down. For $10M~ you think that’d sink a team like the Texans? I don’t.

I guess I'm being dramatic in the event he signs elsewhere. If I get my hopes up, bad things happen.

ET80
5 hours ago, Mr.UFO said: Houston: Calvin Ridley [WR, Jacksonville] HIGHLY unlikely. Texans are looking for a complimentary piece to Tank Dell and Nico Collins, not a guy who will need targets over those two. The Texans are also expecting John Metchie to play a bigger role next season, with an off-season that's not dedicated to recovering from cancer. Gabe Davis as an occasional deep threat or Curtis Samuel in a Deebo Samuel "wide back" role makes more sense, but the odds on favorite is the Texans drafting someone on day 2.

Hollywood is pretty good, but I didn't think he would be that expensive. But these days, if you are any kind of starter, you will get money. In the age we are living in, it's a good time to be either an NFL player or an NFL agent.

Robust TE market, love to see it A couple of the teams that made it further last year, especially in the playoffs, ran more 21 or 12 personnel down the stretch, and saw a lot of success with it. Won't be surprising at all if teams are more in on some mid-tier TEs as a result.
