With most fanbases already looking ahead to the off season, I figured a FA specific thread would make sense by now.

Dak Prescott is in the last year of his deal with a 59 million dollar cap hit this year and at least 36 million in dead money next year. They can restructure a portion of his 29 Million dollar base, but that would just increase the dead money next year if they don't extend him (restructuring 27 million of his base would increase dead money next year to 54 million).

Dak has a no franchise tag provision in his current contract and a no trade clause.

He may reset the QB market, tbh. He has no incentive to sign a new contract as there is nothing that can prevent him from just hitting the open market next year if he wants.

Kendall Fuller might be the most important to me, even over Curl.

That PFF list of Top 150 I'd like to target:

#15 Fuller resign, CB

#21 Curl resign, S

#24 Calvin Ridley, Wr

#27 Robert Hunt, G

#36 Dalton Schultz, TE

#56 Austin Ekeler, RB

#63 Gabe Davis, WR

#105 Willie Gay, LB

#106 AJ Epenesa, DE

#116 Josh Reynolds, WR

#126 Brissett resign QB

I want the Packers to kick the can on Antonion Gibson. I think in a different scheme he'd be dynamic

I think Dallas would prefer it that way.. they might dump him and the coach if all falls apart in the playoffs again

Browns have a lot of interesting players set to hit free agency. Not sure what they decide to do with guys like Z Smith, Hurst, Walker, Takitaki and Shelby Harris. I'm sure they'd like to bring back all guys, but Smith may want more money than we'd be willing to give him, and Hurst and Walker are injury prone. Hurst was great when healthy this season, and our defense definitely seemed a bit lost when Walker was out.

Nick Harris will likely wanna go somewhere where he has a chance to start. Harrison Bryant is a solid backup TE who Stefanski clearly likes, but he's the type of dude you'd like to replace in the draft unless he comes back on a very team-friendly deal.

Other than that, I don't expect the Browns to be spenders in FA, but who knows? I'm guessing they'll likely be looking for cheaper options on short-term deals.

The problem is that they are kind of putting themselves at a competitive disadvantage if they do that. So they're kind of setting themselves and dak up to fail which would then make them want to dump him lol.

If they don't extend him and ride him out as a lame duck QB for this year before letting him go, he's a 59 million dollar cap hit this year with another 36 million in dead money when he's not even on the team.

They can restructure his current base, that would save about 18 million against this year's cap but set them up with a 54 million dead hit next year when he's not on the team.

But he flat out has them bent over a barrel with the contract, tbh. I mean, if he has that kind of leverage and doesn't become the highest paid qb in the league, he's doing them a solid.

Rams need to add Chris Jones, Brian Burns.. It’s all I want.

hoping the Panthers are down to sign and trade Burns, otherwise will be another year of him there.

Would 100% give up at least #22 to get him in Philly
