Daniel
Quote TENNESSEE 7. Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State 38. Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon 107. Tyler Davis, DL, Clemson 145. Jaylin Simpson, CB, Auburn 184. Tip Reiman, TE, Illinois 219. Tyrice Knight, LB, UTEP 240. Jalen Sundell, IOL, North Dakota State I definitely don't hate this for Tennessee. Franklin is a great get at 38, Tyler Davis had a meh season, but was great in 22, all the Auburn DBs looked good at the combine (could have sworn that Simpson was a safety though), and Reiman also looks like a guy who can block. Every pick fits a need (although that's not hard with a roster like Tennessee's), so I like it. One question though: why Fashanu over Alt? One went to the combine and ticked every box, the other went, showed tiny hands, and got injured.

Johnny Wilson, WR, Florida State 110. Josh Newton, CB, TCU 142. Isaiah Adams, IOL, Illinois 199. Myles Cole, EDGE, Texas Tech OH yeah now this one i like top to bottom this one is awesome for the Falcons. I like every single player at the position they were taken and it hits needs and value. Where as i like Verse better than Turner im still debating if Verse will do well in a 3-4 at olb/edge or turner will do better as a 3-4 olb/edge. Honestly i think both will be very good so im not complaining about either.

Especially a 24 year old who most likely doesn't get to play until he's 26 or 27 in year 3/

Only WR we have under contract who's not a PS player is London.

Then let Penix take over next year while we still have all that cap space to use since Russ's contract is so cheap.

Dallin Holker, TE, Colorado State I like McCarthy well enough, I kind of think that's who the Vikings pick, probably not at 11, but maybe 8. Sweat is an interesting pick, I prefer maybe a Jenkins or Fiske. I don't love RB there in round three. I think with the depth at the FA market at RB the Vikings will roll with Chandler and a veteran. Newton from TCU would be who I like instead of Lloyd. Rest of the draft is solid, probably just replace Holker with a RB at 190 and it makes sense to me. Tugboat
Quote JACKSONVILLE 17. Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA 48. Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan 96. Christian Mahogany, IOL, Boston College 115. Christian Jones, OT, Texas 117. Cedric Gray, LB, North Carolina 152. Elijah Jones, CB, Boston College 195. Blake Watson, RB, Memphis 211. Demani Richardson, S, Texas A&M 234. Khristian Boyd, DL, Northern Iowa I just don't really get this mock at all for the Jaguars. Latu is not a need at all. They've got Josh Allen who is a stud in that role. They didn't take Walker at the top of the 1st because they don't like him, or don't think he can contribute more as a pass rusher as he develops. More options and depth at EDGE would be nice enough as a luxury and to kick Walker inside situationally. But it's just so far down the priority list for a Jaguars team with a ton of holes everywhere. I also just don't really like Latu nearly that much as a player. So maybe if it were a completely undeniable talent "value" i'd be fine with it...but nah. The second round...i just don't get Roman Wilson there. Totally redundant lesser version of Christian Kirk who they already have. I'd easily prefer Legette who goes immediately after him. Would offer something different to the mix there. It gets a bit better from there, as focusing on bringing in some OL projects and prospects and depth is just fine. I'd be happy with Gray there, even though LBer isn't really something i'd peg as a need at all. I just really like him as a player, so i wouldn't mind that it's a little redundant for the time being. He'd look great beside Devin Lloyd long-term. But the first two rounds being a whiff makes it a non-starter for the Jaguars for me. There's just so much WR, OLine, even DB talent that i'd prefer to go after, still on the board at those spots.
