NJniners
You have Gronk, Jerry, and Megatron, with the Super Bowl on the line in the end zone/headed to the end zone. Who do you throw it to?
iknowcool
I guess I could maybe see the arguments the other way, but there is no way in the world I'm not picking Rice.
Danger
Jerry Rice, unless you're just planning on running a jump ball of sorts whether it be a fade or a Hail Mary, or what have you, in which case I'm going Calvin Johnson.
RedRider
Jerry Rice, absolutely. If the other team is susceptible to the jump ball, then Gronk. I'd rather have Moss in this regard... though he wasn't on the poll.
Forge
Think it largely depends on where I'm at (am I on the 10, or the 15 or on the 1, or am I heaving it from midfield?).
Hunter2_1
Whoever is open... Well, they're all open aren't they. I see your point. I'd pick the chippiest, mouthiest defender - and target the receiver that he's covering
lancerman
If it's like a 15 to 20 yard route then I'm probably trusting Rice to beat his coverage the best. If it's within 5 yards I'm probably just lobbing it up to Gronk as soon as he turns around.
Xmad
Calvin. Everybody expects you to throw it to Rice or Gronk if you're in the red zone.
tom cody
Jerry Rice. Best WR to ever play.
Mox
Yeah I don't seem how Jerry isn't the answer unless it's a Hail Mary.
iothar
Just to play devils advocate, was Jerry known as an amazing red zone target? (I know he was amazing at everything but I've been following since 99)

Carmen Cygni
Probably gonna toss it to the guy with an all-time leading 197 recieving TDs.
Livewire
Rice of course.
TecmoSuperJoe
Depends on matchups. Who is on Jerry? Is it Deion Sanders? Is Jerry double covered? Who is on Gronkowski and Johnson? And is this a question of during the actual play or before when you're in the huddle and deciding who you are going to pre-snap regardless of circumstance?
