There are plenty of great broadcasters. But first and foremost a person's voice has to not be a huge contrast to what's going on on the screen. Then they have to actually seem like they care to be there.

It's embarrassing for all involved. And like a guy like Mark Sanchez earned his way up the ranks from calling D list college bowl games on Fox and doing local radio to being the B game broadcast on national games and now he's relegated to Bears Titans, really sucks.
