I think a conversation that need to be had about Hurts is that is he basically what Wentz was with the Eagles. One big year, got paid but never will match that one big year or progress further.

The biggest difference in perception of Hurts from Wentz was Hurts was healthy enough to make that playoff run to the Superbowl. Wentz got the Eagles in position in the regular season unfortunately got hurt and then Foles took them on that playoff run to win the Superbowl.

So yeah Hurts one big season then got paid but hasnt been the same just like Wentz. And another similarity is Wentz big season came when he had OC Frank Reich. He left to be the Colts head coach. Hurts big season came when he had OC Shane Steichen. He left to be the Colts head coach. Again after that neither was the same again.

I've BEEN having that conversation. You don't want to have that conversation on Eagles Twitter though.

Alt got owned.

The broadcast put up a stat that he was winning the matchup claiming he allowed no pressures. He's had help all game. For the 3 snaps he was 1-on-1 he drew a holding, gave up a sack, and gave up a QB hit.

Why have the Saints abandoned the pass for most of this game?

Splits about even. 18 passes to 21 runs. But they're actually averaging more per run play than per pass play, right now. It isn't really abandoned so much as it hasn't been good.
