It’s slick. yeah, let's wet it down and see what happens. who would you say a slick wetted field hurts the most, us or the Jets? Jets certainly didn't play well last week in the rain.... vike daddy
so if it's a rainy day game, does that give an advantage to the Jets? London forecast: yes, they played poorly in the rain last week, but that gave them a rain game to practice in, so to speak. how would our quick moving, built to be precise O and D fare in a wet slog fest? @JetsandI @doumeyer Edited October 3 by vike daddy

It rains a lot.
vike daddy
The good news for the Jets in Thursday’s practice was that quarterback Aaron Rodgers was bumped up to full participation, but the bad news was that one of the players charged with protecting him was added to the report. Rodgers was limited in Wednesday’s practice because of a knee that he described as being swollen earlier this week. Rodgers was hit often in last Sunday’s loss to the Broncos, but has not expressed any doubt about being in the lineup against the Vikings in London on Sunday. Right guard Alijah Vera-Tucker was added to the report with an ankle injury. He was a limited participant and his status will be one to watch leading up to kickoff. Right tackle Morgan Moses was limited by a knee injury after not practicing Wednesday, but the team has ruled him out for the second straight game. Linebacker C.J. Mosley (toe) remained limited and left tackle Tyron Smith had a rest day. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/aaron-rodgers-bumped-up-to-full-practice-participation-alijah-vera-tucker-limited
vike daddy
Aaron Rodgers is not familiar lining up against a Brian Flores defense. This will be his first time playing against Flores as a defensive coordinator or head coach. Rodgers: "They play really well together. They throw a lot of different things at you, they have empty pressure. The thing that they do really well is that they're able to call in to pressures and call out of pressures. They have an awareness where if it looks like you're checking out of a pressure, they're going to check out. And then sometimes they can check in to pressures as well. It's a smart defense. B-Flo obviously has them on the same page because they do a lot of different things." https://www.newyorkjets.com/news/jets-offensive-line-aaron-rodgers-jets-offense-vikings-game
vike daddy
Sunday will mark Harrison Smith's 180th regular-season start and 181st game, the most by any Vikings DB in franchise history. Asked if preparing for this game against Rodgers feels any different than the previous 20 times, he paused for a moment. Smith: "I guess it's a little different, but not necessarily because he's on a different team or we're playing in London. There's still a lot of carry-over to what he likes to do and does well. It's a big challenge, but it's always a fun, competitive experience to go against the best. I always look forward to it." https://www.vikings.com/news/harrison-smith-aaron-rodgers-jets-london-week-5-face-each-other-21st-time
vike daddy
Rodgers was blitzed on 49 percent of drop-backs in a loss to the Broncos according to Next Gen Stats. The Vikings under Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores have had a 41.3 blitz percentage through the first four games, which is second highest in the NFL behind Denver. Rodgers posted season lows of 57.1 completion percentage, 5.4 passing yards per attempt and a 72.0 passer rating in Week 4. vikings.com

vike daddy
It looks like the Jets will be without linebacker C.J. Mosley again this Sunday. Mosley has missed the last two games with a toe injury and the team listed him as doubtful on their final injury report of the week. Jamien Sherwood has taken Mosley’s place in the lineup. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/c-j-mosley-listed-as-doubtful
