Very well could be a new deal.  Does a Campbell deal move the needle much on knowing if Rodgers or Adams will be returning?

Can't imagine it does.  Might make Rodgers feel a bit better, but I'm not sure it indicates Rodgers' intentions.  Davante Adams on the other hand...

Will be very interesting to see what that contract would be. He turns 29 in July

Agreed.  I don't think he's going to break the bank, but he's going to get a sizeable pay bump.  Think Jordan Hicks is a solid contract comp for him.

It's that CJ Golson account that think he's a news breaker.  He was the one that apparently OBJ and the Hoodie had a heart-to-heart and he was coming to New England.

The heart-to-heart he reported was between Belichick and N'Keal Harry, not Beckham.

Golson had a series of tweets reporting strong interest between NE and Beckham. That wasn't true? Beckham might've signed with NE if LA hadn't gotten involved.

Golson has broken multiple stories, hard to do that without some legitimate sources.

In this case, who needs a source? If Rodgers is coming back, and all signs point to it, why wouldn't they be shopping Love?

The Rebrovich hire was a McVay/Gruden recommendation.

As much as people talk about McVay in relationship to Shannahan, he's really more of a Gruden protege, and those guys are very very close. LaFleur being close with McVay is consequentially tied to Gruden. Gruden was the OC in Jacksonville in 2020 which is where he crossed paths with Rebrovich.

Interesting but I don't see how he is a Jay Gruden protege. In his 4 years with the Redskins Jay Gruden wasn't on the same staff. LaFleur left when Gruden was hired as head coach. It was Mike Shanahan who hired LaFleur at Houston and then brought him to Washington. He is firmly in the Shanahan tree.

McVay on the other hand is equally influenced by both Shanahan and Gruden trees.

Jason Rebrovich has no connection to McVay but a very slight one with just one year on the same staff with Jay Gruden. McVay wouldn't have been recommended him to LaFleur since he doesn't know the guy. Maybe LaFleur met Gruden through McVay - That's always a possibility but I would be surprised if LaFleur would take recommendations from Gruden.

It's much more likely Pettine or Hackett recommended Rebrovich. Maybe Pettine is on good terms with LaFleur and gave him the heads up regarding the Viking job and his desire to bring Mike Smith with him and suggested Rebrovich as a good replacement. Hackett is not in need of a OLB coach so was able to back up that recommendation.

Peak offseason.

Definitely offseason level analysis.  The thing is, this is a pretty big one in GB, arguably bigger than when MM left, so everything will be under the microscope until the big news drops and we can really get into it. By “it” I mean more speculation but at least there will be something to base it on.

Bill Huber / SI -   The Green Bay Packers are interested in re-signing All-Pro linebacker De’Vondre Campbell, but a new deal isn’t close to being done as of Monday. Campbell’s agent, Joe Panos, confirmed the two sides have been in contact regarding the team’s “desire to do a new deal” but negotiations are still in the infant stages.

Does Love have any trade value to another team?  Yes, he's a first round pick but his resume isn't all that noteworthy and there just isn't a lot of tape on him actually playing before last season.  I would think as a backup to Rodgers he might have more value to us.
