I don't disagree with this and have said so. I do think General Manager Rodgers is going to put a ton of pressure on his assistant, Joe Douglass to make it happen. He gave up that cash and he's going to demand they get the guys he wants with his cash.

Not say it is going to happen, but the Jets are going to be making that call if Bak is healthy.

While I agree with you, this sounds like a Jets problem, not a packers problem to me.

Don't disagree with this at all. I will also say, everything has a price and if that Packers even had an inkling of getting rid of Bak around the trade deadline, might be an opportunity for a highway robbery.

Not saying it will happen or should happen. We'd have to be very comfortable with our tackle depth and overall line depth. Not sure we are at this point.

Anybody can wear any number now. The days when numbers had to correlate to a position are over. Packers are no different. Christian Watson wears 9.

Not true, I do not believe offensive linemen can wear anything other than 50's, 60's and 70's.

Turns out Teddy can only wear #50 in preseason. In regular season he has to wear 0-19. I don't know if NFL has changed rules, but teams have changed things. Time was when 0-19 was offensive backs and special teams specialists. Now Packers have a bunch of WR's with those numbers. There probably always were exceptions, but it's more common now.

A lot of that chatter was before the draft as well.  I recall wanting Corey Davis in that Rodgers deal, or Mims as a throw in.

Yep BEFORE the draft.  WR room was looking pretty barren.  As for Mims he's injured why Detroit released him.  Not sure at this point he would have cracked the 53 even if the Jets decided to throw him in.  Davis would have been a nice add tho.

Having this OL will be a great benefit for us as Love settles in starting.  Often young QBs get pummeled behind subpar lines and their development suffers big time.

That is the curse of being a quarterback being a top 5 pick and going to a ****ty team. I fear for Young, Stroud and Richardson. They are all up against it will teams with inferior talent.

It just amazes me teams haven't watched the Packer way of developing quarterbacks and been patient enough to do so.

If I'm an owner, I'd bring in a new coach and GM. Tell them to find a solid, smart vet and tell them they are starting for 3 years. Go get me a quarterback in round 1 and make them sit and develop.

Not rocket science.
