Yeah, but the Eagles would've ran a crap ton of clock. It's easier to run clock on the opponents side of the field than your own since you're playing with house money. Well, not having their starting QB helps. Granted, I don't know if Carson Wentz necessarily guarantees the Eagles a win in this game but there's a huge difference between them and the 2015 Panthers. Basically do you trust your Defense to win in 4 (or a little more) downs. Or do you trust Nick Foles, with the wind, to get you into FG range for a Game-Tying/Game-Winning FG from your rookie kicker who has been clutch.
