Ive got a lot of work to do this week really breaking down Nagy's offense from the last 4 weeks Looking forward to this!

DC is more important for this teams success Right. His OC is basically a positional coach specialist, who also might get to delegate certain duties to oversee a major portion of the offense while Nagy calls the plays. I really want his OC to be a QB specialist.
Sugashane
If Flip doesn't get the HC gig anywhere, I make him the highest paid OC in the NFL.

Who do we think Nagy picks on the other side of the ball as OC?. The rumor was David Culley Current Bills QB coach, but spent 15 years as Ried's WR coach. We need to develop some WR talent. WindyCity
Ben Allbright was taking Twitter questions today an apparently said he thinks the Bears could keep Fangio or that was the direction it is heading. I can't log in right now to grab the tweet.

I'd feel differently if I thought the Bears were automatically going to the playoffs next season. I'd really rather have someone who's more likely to stick around for a couple of years. Vic is likely to stay because he will get a salary bump and get full autonomy over the defense unlike with Fox.

I can see the next good coach wanting to work under Nagy.
pigsooie5
I’ve been told that Nagy was so impressive that Pace never left Kansas City on Sunday night and he made sure he was going to get his guy before he left. If that happens to be fact than hats off to Pace as he was going to make sure he got his first choice. Via Profootballweekly Its starting to seem more and more likely that this was Paces plan all along. First interview satisfies the Rooney rule, last interview is your #1 guy so you can stay in town and do whatever it takes to lock him up, then fly home. I would have to think Pace/Nagy have a backup plan in case Fangio walks, which makes me feel a little better than the disaster-that-was-Mel-Tucker *vomits*

The system being installed will be Nagys, not Flips. Maybe Rogone is the QB coach and groomed to replace Flip when he inevitably promoted. Flip would be here to develop Trubisky. I would take potentially the best QB developing mind for 1-2 years over a potentially mediocre one for 4-5. Just my thoughts, not saying it is an absolute, but the system being the constant is the major factor IMO.

I'm simply leaning towards someone nearly as good for two or more years, as opposed to DeFlippino for one. More consistent development for Trubisky... Reid doesn't strike me as the type of guy who would block his assistants from either a promotion or to a better fit. If we're gunna take anyone from the staff, God I'd love to bring Toub back over and name him Assistant HC and ST Coordinator. Gotta imagine Reid may give him the Asst HC title though now that Childress retired.
