(#77 in the league) 53 the year prior. 42.5 the year before that. And...just in boxcore scouting him, he has a nice run defense score...poor coverage score. At 6'1'' 199 maybe he needs to be a strong safety and play near the LOS.

Sandy
Hurts at 5 years $51 per year. But Rodgers' $59m for one year is soooo hard for the Jets to take on.

When are teams going to stop paying average QBs record-setting deals? Answer: probably never.

MacReady
The Eagles have exited Super Bowl contention for five years. It can be done, that’s been proven, I’ve been proven wrong. But Hurts is not Mahomes. Hurts was Hurts because his mid round rookie contract allowed the Eagles to have a strong defense, strong receiving corps and elite offensive line. That contract eliminates all of those things. 50 million per to a QB who hasn’t had a 4,000 yard season or a 23 passing TD season is just… Absurd doesn’t quite do it Justice.

I wonder if at some point this will come full circle. Maybe it will just be teams with QB's on rookie deals contending. How can you build a team when your QB munches 20% of the cap. I guess if all teams are doing this no one is at a disadvantage. Whatever happend to Outpost? He was leading the charge on this haven't heard from him in awhile.
