2 third place votes for LaFleur. Who had no pro bowlers. Who had a 1st year starting QB. And the youngest team to ever win a playoff game.

2 third place votes.

Lol awards are silly nonsense.

Have to remember that playoffs aren't part of this equation.  If the same people were voting now, I expect the results would be significantly different.

MLF is nothing without Joe Barry.

Why wasn’t MLF deserving? It should have been between him and Ryans. I’d say their claim is pretty even. If you think Ryans deserved it , I’m not gonna argue , but it should’ve been much closer

Stefanski was deserving of the award

Yeah, I thought the top vote getters were the right names.

It's also easy to forget the fire Barry narrative was at its peak just a couple weeks before these votes were cast.  I assume those December losses to NYG and TAM, followed by the close call vs CAR cost MLF a lot of votes.

Excellent.  Let's keep MLF and GB under the radar.

He should have received bonus points for having to coach both the offense AND the defense.  The Joe Barry handicap should have netted him more respect and points.

But let's keep being the overlooked team.

It's not that he wasn't. What others did was just more impressive

I’m not trying to take anything away from him, I just think it’s on the same level.

I’m just baffled how MLF gets zero credit for Rodgers’ and our resurgence . Multiple 13 wins and all.

Then this year, he has the youngest team in modern history .

1st year starting QB

WR room full of 1st and 2nd years

two best players out for most of the year

Young tackles .

Joe Barry for DC

leads them to a playoff birth and win. And he’s 9th in voting ? That’s not right

I think he gets credit, it's just there is probably always going to be someone that out does him in a given year. I'd take him over probably 99% of the league head coaches, myself. His overall body of work as a HC has been excellent. One of his major hiccups was the hiring of Joe Barry
