When does Tepper say **** it and sell the team? After last year when the husband Tepper insisted on Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. The scouts and coaching staff wanted CJ Stroud. They just said, "what the ****, give her a shot, how bad can it be!" Edited Thursday at 12:55 AM by Old Guy

Panthers are the browns of the NFC. That tracks.

I would laugh but they were able to out incompetent the Bears, gifting them Williams. There’s still hope and precedent that Chicago could mess it up but Williams might just be good enough to overcome his coaching and develop. When a team is that bad at making decisions for that long, you hope to get in on the action but more likely than that is it ends up benefiting a rival.
PossibleCabbage
It's not implausible that Nicole Tepper knows more about football than David Tepper.

It's also not implausible that their GM knows more than both of them put together and maybe they ought to allow him to do his job. You know, like competent organizations do.

It's also likely that if you're someone whose job requires expertise, you would rather hear an uninformed opinion from the spouse or other relation to "the person who can fires you" than a similarly uninformed opinion from the person who can fire you. Many mature companies have an entire layer of middle management designed to insulate the people who actually do the work from meddling C-Suite types. Damn. That's about the most positive way you could spin it. The guy was extremely talented, and did just about everything possible to self-sabotage short of criminal activity. Let's get the details first before we craft the narrative.

The driver of the second car moved into the other lane to pass and hit them head on according to the article I read. Sounds like the kids in his vehicle did nothing wrong and all three of them died. Pretty horrible. Edited 12 hours ago by Old Guy

Pretty horrible. It wasn't a head on. Per both the police report and the TMZ photos (the front of the vehicle is the only thing still mostly identifiable) Police are saying as of now that an Infiniti (I'm reading both QX60 and QX50) moved into their lane at a high rate of speed, and knocked into them, causing them to hit a Chevy Impala before they went tumbling off the road and into some stumps. Purely based on the history of NFL rookies with a history of questionable decisions, being out at 330 in the morning and getting involved in high speed wrecks, it's worth waiting and seeing on this one.
