I give @Old Guy a lot of "guff" for being off-base sometimes.  But in this case?  I thought he was pretty meaningful, instead of mean.  Paying that much for an oft injured, usually disgruntled, aged corner, while letting a cornerstone like Wilkens leave is really puzzling.

I get the Waddle contract.  Hill isn't going to play forever, but if they could do this deal with Ramsey, I feel like it would have been a better spend of cap and dollars to get the younger, better Wilkens.

But, as I've said before and will say again, it's been a long time since an NFL franchise has asked for my opinion and "long time" in this context means, never.  LOL!

The wait is over......

Adam Schefter - A deadline deal: Hours before Dallas kicked off its season, it reached agreement with QB Dak Prescott on a four-year contract, $240 million extension that will make him the highest-paid player in NFL history and keep him in a Cowboys uniform for seasons to come.
