I have a hard time believe anybody could be quite so dumb as to threaten someone with force over a charger.. perhaps he was drunk. Perhaps the uber driver was salty and saw an opportunity to turn a mistake by Humphrey into a cash grab. The alcohol box on the police report is checked, and the report notes that the charger (worth $15!) was taken from a hotel/motel on Saturday, January 13th at 3:19am. Kind of baffling that the hotel would file charges over that.

Yep. Looks like 4th degree theft and harassment.
showtime
Great to see the details of this come out. If it is indeed a phone charger, it's really not that big of a deal. The person who filed a police report because their phone charger got taken is LOL worthy.

For example uber “hey thats actually mine” marlon “no its not poophead” uber “well give it back or i have to call the cops” marlon “im not giving it back and your mother was a peasant” that would justify calling the police. You're right. I was referring to the story that he took the charger by mistake or because he thought it was his.

Yeah and it was a couple weeks ago. His bond was reported at $2500 so I'm guessing whatever it was he didn't brandish a weapon or strong arm anyone. He probably was a jerk to police so they gave him the biggest charge they could which eventually will be lowered to a theft or nuisance charge depending on what happened. So sometime between the officer submitting his incident report and the actual booking, the charge changed from a 4th-degree theft (misdemeanor) to a third-degree robbery (felony). Odd.
