Brees is playing aggressively and with confidence. By comparison Rodgers looks tentative and unconfident. Could Rodgers' problem be more mental than physical? There are people called sports psychologists. Maybe Rodgers needs some work on the mental part of his game?

Has there been a single person on this forum to deny Brees is having a far better year than Aaron?

It's not about this year.  It's about Brees being better than Rodgers over his entire career.  Could you imagine Drew Brees with Aaron's physical ability?

And he delivers the ball using his shoulder as well......

Rodger is a repetition guy and thats what makes him great. However, breaking his collarbone and sprained knee really limited his reps the past year and it shows in his mechanics. Give him next year to be back at mvp level.

Careful with this.  You don't want to say these things round these parts.

I tell it the way it is. That last Redzone TD Brees hit the open receiver as soon as he saw separation. Rodgers would've held the ball running around looking for a more dramatic TD. I said it once and ill keep saying it, Rodgers is playing like crap because he's a big play whore.

ESPN Playoff Machine is back!!!

We've got a surprisingly easy road to the playoffs.  Based on very realistic projections, we could lose two games and still be the third seed.  Can't afford to lose either of the next two games though.  That makes things MUCH more difficult.

Right now I have:

Kansas City/Pittsburgh as the 1/2 seed in AFC

Colts @ Texans

Chargers @ Patriots

Rams / Saints as 1 / 2 seeds in NFC

Seattle @ Green Bay

Carolina @ Philadelphia

yeah the biggest game is obviously against the vikings, because it controls the tiebreaker

we probably can only lose 1 though.

Serious question, do you think Brees participates in a single Super Bowl with Mac as his head coach?

2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and this year Brees and McCarthy could have gotten to the Super Bowl if the Packers had remained the same other than their QB.

Brees could have won the 2010 Super Bowl with an eye patch over one eye.
Brees would have thrown 60 touchdown passes behind that OL and with that receiving corps in 2011.
Our defense was underrated in 2013.
2014, Brees wouldn't have crapped the bed and it never would have come to Bostick.
2015, Brees is better at not having to rely on receivers.  Could have gotten there.  Not likely, but more likely than with Rodgers.

Not saying it was a definite thing in 2011 and 2013, but Brees could have done what Rodgers couldn't have in those two years.
