Haslam at Allen’s pro day also. Was he at Rosens?

Hopefully he talks to his parents and Allen kills it.

I think he was only at Darnold's pro day. This confirms the rumor Darnold and Allen are their top 2 QB's. Allen is probably still in play at number 1.

Getting Allen to go 1 and guaranteeing us one of Rosen or Darnold would be exhilarating

Dunno but I am sure if top coaches eyed for certain qbs, he will tag along for purpose of meeting parents.

I hope this is true. They don't have to trade back now that they have another 3rd round pick.

According to ESPN Giants reporter Jordan Raanan, USC's Sam Darnold is the only quarterback the Giants would take at the No. 2 overall pick.

It sounds like the Giants' scouting grades on Josh Rosen, Baker Mayfield, and Josh Allen simply aren't high enough for GM Dave Gettleman to consider picking one of the non-Darnold quarterbacks at No. 2. Gettleman has a history of drafting running backs high -- he took Christian McCaffrey eighth overall in Carolina last year -- and he never traded down in any round of the draft during four seasons as Panthers GM. Barring Gettleman disregarding his scouts or reversing course on his historical anti-trade-down stance, Penn State RB Saquon Barkley and NC State DE/OLB Bradley Chubb appear to be co-favorites to go at No. 2.

Giants invited Bradley Chubb too.  Where would he play in 3-4?  Ala Joey Bosa?   We have to wait longer.

I don't see them taking Chubb.  I think they'll take Barkley in this case or trade down.

Why? He's the best pass rusher in the draft, can play in either scheme DE/OLB, and they have a high priced Vet in Vernon that they can get out from after the upcoming season. It'll definitely be him vs Saquon.

Starts out as a pass rush specialist then work him in at OLB

1) Saquon is a much bigger need

2) Gettleman said he'd only take a guy at 2 that he sees a perennial pro bowler and a future hall of famer.  Hard to say Chubb fits that mold.  Not saying he can't, but if so, he'd likely be highly regarded in general.

3) Gettleman historically has been a big believer in drafting talented RB's early (McCaffrey last year, David Wilson, etc.)

Josh Allen apparently had a great pro day. He had a strong arm, was mobile and looked the part. Oh wait. We already knew that. All kidding aside, I saw some highlights and he looked pretty accurate today.

He does have upside. Not because of his size and cannon and all that nonsense, but because he hasn't really been coached. So, he can still be molded.

This goes for any QB but its hard to mess up a Pro Day

A lot of people are pretty accurate in a tee and shorts
