bigjohnson2009
Take Guice or Landry at 33. Trade 35 to acquire something like 55 and 85. 55. Hurst 64. WR St. Brown or Miller 85. Jamarco Jones

If he clearly could break away, which he definitely may end up being able to do, he would be looked at as a top 20 player in my opinion. He hasn't been picked because people aren't sure if he'll be another Kelvin Benjamin type of player. And I've heard your take on Orlando Brown, and I don't necessarily disagree. That said, why is it that there is a consistent narrative that Oklahoma's offensive line is so great then? I'm confused, as I watched a lot of Oklahoma and did not see what looked to be an elite offensive line at all. I often saw Baker running for his life and creating plays out of thin air because there was such quick penetration. There are 2 types of separation for WRs: 1. The Ability to Get Open by Separating from the DB in terms of creating distance/space to make a catch and get YAC. 2. The Ability to Always Be Open Via High Point, Jump Ball Ability, Agility to Box Out the DB & Adjust Quickly To Create Just Enough Catching Space where the DB being on you doesn't matter. Sutton has the latter... he's a combat catcher.... he's not elite at it like Mike Williams was last year or an Anquan Boldin or Dez Bryant type... but his catch radius, arm length and athleticism is crazy along with elite of elite agility and size to where he's always open even when he's tightly covered. I see him as a big slot receiver and catch and run specialists (one cut ability). ---------------------- The OU oline is heralded due to the insane offensive production of the Sooners offense and the brilliance of Lincoln Riley... the speed in which the ball comes out is really a game changer for the OLineman in terms of protecting their sack numbers... RPOs protect the OLine as well as the defense is reading for longer with defenders spread out on the field so the defense is less likely to send pressures or attack the OLso the OL isn't tested as much outside of 4 man pressures... even when it is the ball's out so fast that the DC realizes he's better off using the pressure players in coverage to stop the speed of the spread offense... If he wants an OT, he better take him at #33. Methinks NYG will be looking hard at O-Linemen. And they won't take Guice after taking Barkley, so he should be there at #35. They couldn't block athletes, but they could carve up running lanes. Their entire OL is built like a Sumo Wrestling squad. A bunch of fat slobs that can run through you, but hilariously slow kick steps.

RoJo is that good IMO, just not big and needs to be in a specific scheme

Pass protection issues aren't run protection issues.... the Pac hardly ever produces impact interior DLineman (beyond Vita Vea, Shelton, Vanderdoes, Harrison Phillips) everone is kind of buttcheeks... A lot of Ro-Jo's production came on RPO's that gave him favorable 1 on 1s where if he beat one guy he was going to pick up a chunk of yards out of the gun... Now I also am confused as to why UCLA's offensive line is supposed to be terrible but had Kolton Miller go in the first round, even if he's overrated for that slot, and it's supposed to have quesenberry go pretty high as well. Things just don't seem to match the common accepted narratives around the quality of these offensive lines. All I heard this off-season is how Baker gets to stand in the pocket all day, even though I did not see that on tape especially in a way that differentiated him from anyone else. Everyone had their moments of getting to stand around from the tape I saw. Sam and Josh were supposedly running for their lives, but I'm just confused how there is such a different storyline than what it appears to be, that they all had just okay offensive lines. brownie man
I liked Guice on the field but his personality is alot when you combine that with Baker I like Kerryon alot soon or Royce Freeman later yeah I'm hella down with trading down from both picks pick up another 2nd next year or something
Aztec Hammer
Guice easily. Better player than Fournette imo. Only player with three games of 250+ in SEC and to be honest, he could have went for 400 in the one I remember watching. We've got Baker, so we're all in on maverick personalities at this point. Just add Guice and let's go get it.
