oh the salt is real even in salt lake city.

Salty or not, he's right. LeBron and James Harden get to play by one set of rules, while the rest of the guys have to play by another. Harden initiates contact and then flails around like he's been stabbed. It's hard to respect that part of his game.

Capela had 5 blocks in the final 2:39 last night. His improvement from year to year has been remarkable. Last season he was over matched in the playoffs, especially against Steven Adams. He has taken that next step. His ability to switch on guards is one of the best in the league for a center. Hopefully he can keep this play up in the match up with Golden State, assuming we dont Chris Paul this 3-1 lead.

It's not just those 2 at all.

I'm trying to picture what Philly would be like right now if they took Mitchell instead of Fultz.

PG: Mitchell (probably, if not SG)

SG: Reddick

SF: Simmons

PF: Saric

C: Embiid

That Mitchell, Simmons, and Embiid trio would be unreal going forward.

Fultz is clearly just trying to pull a Ben Simmons and win Rookie of the Year in his second season. He'll be fine.

I'm not giving up on Fultz. I just think that Mitchell is a legit STUD and future superstar. I'll take that over a question mark in Fultz.

Donovan Mitchell is in the perfect place for him to succeed. If he was on the 76ers this year (which....there was zero shot at that happening) he'd be the 3rd or 4th best player on the team and wouldn't have had the ball or shots or minutes that he has had in Utah.

Now, if Detroit had drafted Mitchell instead of Luke Kennard.....

If he was in Philly, then, he also wouldn't be the only guy who could get a bucket on the team and could create off the bounce. Thinking about it, he would be the missing piece for Philly. Where they struggle is end of games they have no one on the perimeter that could get their own shot as Simmons is a complete non-factor, and rely on running Redick/Belinei off screens or just feed Embiid.

This is also why it is a must that Fultz gets his jumper back, or at least be respectable from the perimeter. He also has the potential to be THAT guy for Philly.

Now, if they get LeBron then it won't matter since he will be their closer and the guy that gets it done down the stretch. Or even if they get someone like Kawhi.
