Nope, TE.  I've heard Miami actually think they're fine at DT even without Suh.

We have young guys like Jordan Philips, Vincent Taylor, Cameron Malveaux, and Davon Godchaux so it's not a major need, but I would like another. I think we need a vet before the season starts.

The Broncos must not be planning to use their tight ends much in the passing game because they've got a lot of talent at WR now.

C-Henderson is a failed experiment, he's going to be our Tavon Austin.  TERRIBLE wasted 3.82 pick.

DT/Sanders cost too much to keep more than 1 guy next year, and after 2019, we'll likely say goodbye to the 2nd guy.

Sutton & Hamilton represent our 3rd & 4th WR's this year - next year, they'll be our 2nd/slot guys.   Sanders is a goner after 2018 (unless DT gets hurt, then he's done and we keep Sanders).   And then after 2019, we say goodbye to DT.

The great thing about Hamilton - he's a slot-only, pure-technique and route-running guy - but he's legit.  TOTAL opposite of Elway's failed insane-tools, no-skills busts we've been getting in Day 2.   Same for Jewell at ILB.

I would have rather gone WR at 3.71 and gone Goedert or Oliver at 2.40 (as I think Freeman would have fallen to 3.99, but I'd have been fine with Kelly 3.99 too), but I FREAKING LOVE 4.106 Jewell & 4.113 Hamilton with 1.5 Chubb.   And while I'm not crazy about Sutton 2.40/Freeman 3.71/CB Yiadom 3.99 instead of Oliver (or Goedert) 2.40 / Gallup 3.71 / Kelly 3.99, it's not a bad result at all.

Elway's had a brutal 3-year run, but I give an A for Day 1, B for Day 2, and so far, A for Day 3, and if we can get real talent with our last 2 picks, could be a classic A+ Day 3 for Elway.  And to be clear, I gave Elway's draft last year a C/D even with some hope..when it was a F.   And the same for 2016.

DEN fans are over the moon with Elway's conversion to taking BPA over need in Rd1, and getting guys with actual football skills over insane-tool/no-skill guys...and not reaching hard to get "his guy".  It's a 180 degree turnaround.  So happy.

So Desmond King is going to be at corner full time then?

Yup.  And good luck to any TE playing against the Chargers.  Between Derwin and Kyzir that's a virtual blanket.  That nickel defense is going to be fun to watch.

Ummm...

Nicholson:

40 time: 4.42

Vert: 35"

Broad: 125"

20-yard Shuttle: 4.19

Apke:

40 time: 4.34

Vert: 41"

Broad: 131"

20-yard Shuttle: 4.03

Tape over track.  Athleticism that translates to the field is what matters.  Montae did that.  You don't see it as much from Apke.  It's a decent dart throw, which is what I believe it to have been, but the two really are not comparable prospects outside of the workout numbers.
