Two takeaways: **** the Wilpons I have heard positive stuff on Ryder Ryan, so he is a good get considering the money but the money is the big issue here. I hate to pile on, but Ryder isn't even a good shot at being a good relief arm. 30th round pick, college arm, command and control issues, has been barely mediocre at a level where he is the average age.
