So does Solak lol

I'm rooting for Pumphrey to beat the odds though after seeing all the slander he gets.

I'd rather have Smallwood as a 4th RB

With Ajayi, Clement and Sproles set for this year, I'm rooting for Pump to turn a corner and set himself up for a productive 2019. If he can take over the Sproles role eventually, that would be ideal. But the progress of Clement and most likely a high RB draft pick next year will make him all but inconsequential.

He is the most complete RB of the ones battling for the 4th RB spot, but he has to prove he can stay healthy.

Looks like Staley has taken a special interest in Jones, but not sure about him either.

He struggled with vision and fumbles (8 of them in 2 years) in Washington and got waived from the Colts who aren't exactly stacked at RB.

Then, there is Josh Adams who hasn't practiced yet cause of some injury, but if we are gonna keep a bigger back as the RB4 I think I'd rather it be Adams.

He's younger than Jones and can at least hold onto the ball.

Josh Adams is gonna get ko'd if he hasn't changed his running style of basically being completely upright. I want to see him practice.

As much as I'm glad Sproles is back, I hope it doesn't make Pederson get cute again like year one forcing the Sproles package on the offense.

The one positive from his injury last season was the commitment to the Running game. Pounding the rock! Not the forced (IMO) passes to Sproles on 3rd and shorts.

Also, thought I should include this bit for those who forget Sproles is a literal freak of nature.

1. Ajayi
2. Clement
3. Sproles
4. Smallwood/Jones
5. Pumphrey/Adams

IMO if Pumphrey makes the roster then that means someone ahead of him got hurt.

Somebody tell me about Matt Jones. I heard a lot of good things about Adams after we signed him following the draft, but haven't heard a thing about Matt Jones until the past week or so.

It all changed when it became apparent Duce really, really likes Matt Jones.

i really liked matt jones coming out of florida. Has struggled with fumbles so far in his career. fumbles once every 35 touches and had some injury issues.
