Pass rushers are important in today's NFL. Since Odenigbo could be considered a pass rushing DT as well, they will all make the roster most likely. The backup DT spot is weak outside of Jaleel Johnson who is playing great, and if one considers Odenigbo a DT then they will all make the roster possibly. Still they do need a true backup pass rushing DE and Odenigbo could be it potentially. Brothers could be as good as gone if Downs keeps playing this well I feel. And Williams not sure what we do with him, he looks solid at times, same with Cliett. And Dooley who has good potential as a player probably will not make the roster with the OLB depth and talent, and really he is a better fit in a 3/4, sure they brought him in to try and see if he could be a pass rushing DE maybe... JaguarCrazy2832 Posted August 18, 2018 Share Posted August 18, 2018 Hey guys, I wish I could say good game but it was pretty rough to watch at times. You guys were beating Cam Robinson like a drum. Just glad Bortles didn't get murdered back there. Boone looked really good albeit vs lesser guys but he has some wheels and I think he even stiff armed Telvin to the ground. I do have a question though: What did you think of the lowering helmet hit call on Bouye? I didn't see the replay for the kickoff one so I can't really comment on it but what about the other? To me that was a crap call but I'm definitely biased. I feel like that rule is going to hurt both of our teams greatly as we live by a physical defensive gameplan and if it comes down to whiffing on a tackle or making a play but getting a flag I think we're both in for a rough year.
