We wanted multiple draft picks on tight ends because "we were going to utilize more 2 tight end sets" and never did. Escobar wasnt a great blocker but seemed to be a decent receiving threat. Why not split him out wide? Now when we have terrible tight ends and speed at receiver, now Linehan wants to run these sets. Doesnt matter the talent we have or lack there of in some cases, until we get a coach and coordinator that best utilizes his players, we will not accomplish anything.
