Pastor Dillon Posted October 3, 2020 Share Posted October 3, 2020 One positive take away from this 0-3 start to the season is that we seem to have some young guys who could be vital parts of our roster moving forward. Namely Jamie Martin should take over for Mercilius and Omenihu seems like a long term starter at DE. We don’t really know what we have in Greenard or Blacklock yet but rookies were always going to struggle. my hope is that those 4 guys will continue to grow and give us 4 solid players the next 5-6 years without breaking the bank. PJ Hall has been a pleasant surprise as well. bottom line though, we are going into the off season with zero money and without a pick until the 3rd round and we have a real talent problem on defense it’s super concerning that the offensive line is regressing but I’m hopeful with the investment we’ve made there that they will pull it together. We’ve had such superior talent the last few years that it’s been masked. BOB has been shipping out talent like Clowney, Bouye, Brown, Hopkins, Reader and so on without having the draft picks to replace them. we are depending on a number of UDFAs and cast offs from other teams.
