Who are the Franchise QBs?

Who are the true franchise QBs in your eyes? The guys that will rightfully ride out the rest of their career with their current team until they physically decline to the point of being a shell of their former selves, or call it quits? The guys whose position as the starting QB goes unquestioned (in your eyes) on a week to week basis regardless of their performance?

Seems kind of pointless to make the thread if you're going to demur on like half the starting QBs. Would be more interesting if you just made a judgment call.

Well this thread is more to see everyone's list, I probably shouldn't have even posted mine since that just means everybody analyzing it instead. 

Make no mistake, there are just 10 franchise QBs in my eyes, anyone listed outside there I do not consider a franchise QB right now. A far cry from half the starting QBs. I just wanted to add where my head was at with other prominent QBs/prevent outrage from people not seeing their guy considered a franchise QB.

I guess if you have a top 10 QB you're happy about that.

11-20 you're content, and looking to add bargain pieces to pass rush or prevent defence.

21 or lower and you're drafting one every year, if not 2.

The guys who at least 20% of the fanbase thinks can win a superbowl if they just "get the right team" around them.

Ryan Fitzpatrick every 3-4 years as well.

Some of them are about the end of their careers right now, but the guys who are "franchise QB level" in the NFL right now imo are (no intentional ordering here): Brady, Rodgers, Ben, Rivers, Brees, Newton, Wilson, Wentz, Goff, Ryan, Stafford, Luck, with a few other QBs kind of borderline or too unproven still.

Stafford really......and Ryan still has to prove himself one possible fluke year doesn't make you a franchise qb

even cousins has shown more and jimmy g doesnt look very good this year and his year is over so far

Ryan doesn't have to prove himself still lol.  He's been an above average QB for years and his "fluke year" was a historically great MVP winning season.

Really if there's any QB I listed I have doubts about it's Luck.

Detroit has never really put a good team around Stafford aside from Calvin Johnson for a few years.

He's also had a Passer Rating of 95+ the past 3 seasons. He doesn't have to prove himself.

To me guy is a modern day Jeff George big numbers and big stats.....nothing to show for it

I rather have a clutch Joe Flacco or Eli who put up numbers when it matters and win games.

Ravens and Giants would swap QBs with the Lions imo. Stafford isn't all that great but he has had to deal with one of the worst ownerships in sports. He also has taken the Lions to 3 playoff trips, not many qbs have that.
