I've read the movie is DOA, but the show concept is starting to pick up steam... https://www.ign.com/articles/mass-effect-project-teased-by-henry-cavill A few months back, Henry Cavill (who is no stranger to video game-to-TV adaptations) posted a cryptic Insta, referencing another project... which was quickly decrypted as a primer on Mass Effect 3, which was further interpreted as Cavill attached to another video game vehicle. I don't know if I'd like him as Shepard (I think going with Femshep would be a better attempt in gaining new eyes on the story) but I'm not going to hate him as Shep if this is the case (I think he'd be a GREAT Garrus, though). Interesting little debate, who do you kill off? Just the ones that always die no matter what? Your Kaiden/Ashley, Thane, and Morinth/Samara. Technically there IS a way to save Mordin; if you kill Wrex on Vormir and hide the shroud sabotage when Mordin figures it out you can convince him that under Wreav (Wrex's brother)'s rule the Krogan Rebellions will start all over again. Instead of curing the genophage he disappears and fakes his death. I think you gotta mix it up between paragon and renegade choice in an adaptation so I would go like this: Save the Rachnii Queen Kill whoever the opposite gender is between Kaiden/Ashley (IE Femshep saves Kaiden) Dont kill Wrex on Vormire Propose Udina for the counsel Save Maelon's data but kill Maelon Pick Samara HOWEVER I think Morinth should escape the encounter and show up during the ME3 Ardat-Yakshi mission. Activate Legion Release Grunt Destroy Geth Heretics For the Suicide Mission I feel like you HAVE to kill off some peeps, and I nominate Miranda, Jacob, Samara, Zaeed, Kasumi and Kelly because they have limited to no role in ME3 outside of some side missions. As an aside, you could consider combining Kelly and Traynor into one character in which case let that amalgamation live. At grissom academy I think you save Jack but her students are captured so she jets off to rescue them but you find her indoctrinated and you have to kill her when you attack the Cerebus base for the prothean VI data. On Tunchunka you go full paragon, hid the sabotage at first but when Mordin figure it out cop to it and help him actually cure the genophage, he dies as usual with Wrex and Eve living. Take the shot to kill Udina During the Ardat-Yakshi mission, have Morinth show up to save her sisters instead of Samara (even if you choose Morinth in ME2 she doesnt show up here). Have Morinth and her surviving sister show up during the final assault in London as transformed reaper banshees. On Rannoch, unite the Geth and Quarians. Legion still dies uploading the code. Kill the Rachni Queen the second time around and save Grunt and his squad. I would redesign the final Crucible scene. Instead of the three way conversation being a precursor to the decision, have Shepherd, Anderson, and Illusive Man all hear the Catalyst's spiel. Get rid of Synthesis. Have Shepherd do the renegade option of not being able to make that kind of massive choice. Illusive Man goes for the control terminal, Anderson tries to stop him, take a bullet, and Shepherd kills Illusive Man.
