However, the story is there for a pretty awesome trilogy with the first two books making up two movies, and then maybe taking parts of books 3 and 4 to the point where you could have a pretty good ending for a series. Those would be for a more standard sea faring adventure story, whereas you get into a lot more nuanced storytelling later in the series.
