Ben Muth is a former OL coach who writes for Football Outsiders.
This year, SF is one of the OL's he is writing about and here is his post-game review of the 9ers vs Chargers and the beating CJ Beathard took last Sunday

Depressing write up lol. Most 49er fans are content with the line this year. Certainly not great, but we've been dealing with much worse the last few years. But sometimes it takes a dose of objectivity to open our eyes to some things

Why can't people grasp that Williams is one of the best pass blocking backs in the NFL and TyMon is a WR? When we're in pass only mode Jones is a clear #3 to Mac, and it's not overly difficult to see why.

I bet if it's 24-14 in our favor in the 3rd on MNF, we'll see a bunch of Jones. I think he's probably the preferred back in situations where we either have to run or can be balanced. He isn't when we're in pass mode.

It really isn't hard to grasp.

The biggest issue with Williams right now (and it was better last week) was his extensive usage to start the game and in situations where we are leading/balanced.

Things are trending in the right direction in that regard though, and Jones was phased out due to game script, as any 2 down RB would be on any team in the NFL.

Tom Silverstein spends way too much time examining his own colon.  A perfect match for the Milwaukee Fishwrap.  When in doubt make things up.

Let's face it, to win consistently in the NFL you must get 4 qtrs. out of your best players.  In those terms Aaron Rodgers has stunk, plain and simple.  He looks like Drew Brees playing blindfolded for too much of every game.  Missing open receivers, can't see open receivers, ignoring open receivers and then throwing the ball deep to covered receivers, poor anticipation and pocket awareness.  Until he plays to his potential, which we haven't seen for 2-3 years now, this team will not win consistently.  Neither could any team when their best player, their franchise QB, is playing like crap.

What a great way to open a playoff contest between Packers and 9ers

Big hit, followed by a Fumble return for a TD on the opening play of the game.
This was when the Packers established themselves as serious contenders at the expense of the Dynasty 9ers

More writers calling out Mac's handling of Aaron Jones. Crazy.

After the game, a member of the Lions expressed to a colleague that the team was happy it didn’t have to face Jones in the second half. When the opposition feels that way about a guy, then he probably deserves to be on the field.

Even the opposition is puzzled.

We were contenders in 1993 and 1994 as well. Same problem as 1995 though...we had one of best assembled teams in NFL history in the NFC we had to go through every year in Dallas. Those '93-'97 Packers teams were legit.

From ESPN:

There's good news and potentially bad news for Aaron Rodgers. The GBP quarterback could have his top three receivers back together for Monday night's game against the San Francisco 49ers but he might be a little less mobile than he'd like. Rodgers experienced what he called a setback with his ailing left knee during last Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions when he took a hit from linebacker Christian Jones on the game's opening drive.
