We have pics of you watching porn on your computer, and you better pay up, or we will reveal to all of your contacts. I quickly (somewhat quickly) realized that this was a bogus scam, and there have been numerous warnings both online, and on the news about this. Besides...I use my phone, not my computer. Anyways... None of this really means anything, except for the fact that it addressed me as bigpoppa. Besides this site, I do not use this nickname....at all. Very curious!!! I shouldn't have to, but let me preface this by saying domestic violence is one of the worst things that could happen to any human being. I also know that I am guilty of being a "homer" to a certain extent, and tend to defend the people that are associated with the teams that I root for. But am I wrong for having doubts about the abuse allegations by Courtney Smith? I believe it was Nate or Mwil that posted about the number of times the police were called, and how there was never an arrest. Ppl acting like it is difficult to arrest in those situations, and I disagree. I would think that more often than not, the man IS going to jail, if he is even suspected of DV. It was stated that Shelly Meyer doubted the veracity of the claims of abuse by Courtney Smith. Zack Smith's mother, and HER OWN DAMN MOTHER also doubted that she was an abuse victim. When Urban didn't answer the question the way everyone wanted " about what he would say to Courtney Smith" It tells me that he isn't buying it either. Zack Smith "seems" like he is probably a complete tool. He may very well have abused her also, and if he did, then he is a piece of garbage that should rot. I just would not be surprised to see Courtney Smith on a reality show, or somehow profiting from this newfound fame (or infamy) Again...if she is truly a victim of some psychotic idiot, then I am completely sorry, and in the wrong. It reminds me of the Office Space "pieces of flair" argument between Aniston and her manager/boss. If he reported it, that should be "good enough" legally. The major issue that I have is the one sided reporting, clear agenda by ESPN (SHOCKER), and how the narrative has completely shifted from domestic abuse (to which I said I'd fire Urban if the allegations are true and stand by that) to "did he do enough/was he honest". He's a CPD officer too, so he's as close to a legitimate source as you can get. 66 times in 90 days and the department outside of Columbus who was called (Not CPD themselves) stopped responding.
