DreamKid
Pees to Tenn would turn into another one of those ol "The Ravens fans are lying cause their mid wei stall der guy" accusations.

And then when Tennessee's defense dramatically declines and loses multiple games because of late defensive failures, they, like Patriots fans with Dean Pees, will realize we were right.

To be fair, danish Patriots fans knew exactly what would happen when we got Pees. They have been very honest about how they knew exactly where his flaws are and how it also cost them multiple games. Someone here posted the 2005 patriots forums reactions to Dean Pees and it was literally the exact same observations that we're making lol

AFlaccoSeagulls
Vrabel seems like he has a great idea of the kind of people he wants, and so far his hires have been in-line with getting young and creative. Why in the world would he target old and bland with Dean Pees?! Also, if they actually hire him, Kevin Byard might as well just retire now because his career is about to get completely wasted. coordinator0
Just to note, I don't have a gif good enough to use if the Titans actually end up convincing Pees to come out of retirement to be their defensive coordinator. I mean just read that sentence. So much wrong in so little space.

Still don't have a gif worthy enough of this occasion.

SalvadorsDeli
Even though I'm not happy with the decision he made on replacing Pees, it's mildly encouraging that it seems Pees actually was pushed out rather than his 'retirement' actually being legit.

DreamKid
Oh that Titan's forum is great right now. Apparently our defense overachieved because of Pees, and past Mosley, old Suggs, and Weddle, whom do we really have? I actually feel for them on some level, just no comprehension of what's coming.
berlin calling
will be interesting to hear of Bisciotti will comment on this "retirement" in his presser on Friday. as stated above, very clearly a polite firing of a senior staff member. TitanLegend
Regarding Pees, our defense for years has blown leads late in games, that part won't be anything new. If we get to go from having a average to below average defense that blows leads at the end to a good/sometimes very good defense that blows leads, that's still an upgrade, right? Don't forget improper use of personnel, a complete lack of ingenuity/flexibility, and an inability to field talent because it makes his brain hurt when he thinks too much. You'll get all that in addition to blown leads late in games.
