drd23
Just like on the old forum, a place to post random Ravens-related thoughts that don't necessarily need an entire thread...
CWood21
Felt like there should have been some sort of Edgar Allen Poe reference here...
drd23
I would have quoted The Raven @CWood21 but that is one looong poem (and I've never understood poetry. I'm more of a maths and science guy)

coordinator0
Clady was a name thrown around for the Ravens. Nothing officially as far as I could tell and not someone I was too interested in the team bringing in, but that's another option off the market. drd23
I hadn't even heard his name mentioned in connection with the Ravens. He had a good career but was being worn down by injuries the last couple of years so it probably makes sense for him to retire

sp6488
Posted this in the old forum... Sitting here watching the Orioles game and there's a weather delay. MASN cuts away to ESPNews as they often do in such a situation. Man, you hear some uninformed ish from the World Wide Leader sometimes... The anchor starts a monologue about Colin Kaepernick and his potential signing with the Ravens wondering if things could have been different for Colin Kaepernick and his perception/legacy. He goes on to wonder if "the lights hadn't gone out during the SB" if Kaep and his team would be SB champions today, rather than the Ravens. This is pretty much the opposite of what happened, ha. They were against the ropes and, while it can't be said for certain, it really seems as though the blackout is what gave them the chance to regroup and fight back. If the lights hadn't gone out, they probably would've been blown out. Kap40 at that time was a deer in headlights and couldn't hold his lunch at the time, haha. coordinator0
Yup, Zuttah is awful.

Just like Gino Gradkowsi who we traded for a similar pick swap to the Broncos a couple years back and he got cut before the season started. When we say our starting center is completely atrocious, people should believe us next time. Just read the news thread for the trade in the old forum, where his pro-bowl status and good PFF grades were used to suggest he was decent Edited August 9, 2017 by wackywabbit

Danand
Zuttah was very serviceable... in one system. Basically the same with Forsett. And this is why I doubt our preferences when it comes to adding players to our roster. Now we have to hope either Jensen, Skura or whoever is not another Gino Gradkowski. I'm not sure I understand this statement as a follow-up to the first. Zuttah was good in the system he was brought in for... Timeline: On January 27, 2014, Kubiak signed with the Baltimore Ravens to be their new offensive coordinator. On March 23, 2014, Zuttah traded by Buccaneers to Ravens for 2015 5th round pick (162nd overall, Kenny Bell). Forsett signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens on April 4, 2014.
