paraven
Id be surprised if ravens take a QB as early as 16. But im starting to like Mason Rudolph as an option.

I think QB is very possible in round 1. In fact, if I had to bet on a single position to be the pick, I'd go QB, though it'd still be a <50% prop guess. It's an unusually good class and as I've made my case in other threads, I think the timing is right for us. I watched a little of Rudolph too recently and I was encouraged. I think the perception of him as a boring 5th best pocket passer in the draft has dampened the buzz on him. But on the little I've seen of him, there's a lot to like about how he delivers the ball and handles pressure. I need to watch more to form an opinion on him at 16 though. coordinator0
Yeah, if the team has a high grade on whatever QB is left at 16 (might only be Rudolph and maybe Jackson) that might be the best course of action. Have to pounce on one when you can can. I don't think the Ravens will be in a position to draft one in the top five (without trading up) for a few years yet. Well, hopefully. paraven
I dont know if anyone else noticed, but I was reading an article about the offseason workouts beginning yesterday and saw a pic of flacco.. The dude is jacked. I dont remember him ever having that much muscle on him
berlin calling
here's to one healthy offseason for Flacco so it is either a) proven that he just cannot perform anymore and doesn't have injuries to excuse for, possibly ending in his release or b) proven he still can be the QB that brought the Lombardi to Baltimore with a run for the ages. Tbf, if he gets hurt again, we have 3) we can't trust his health and should look for a future replacement.
Danand
If Flacco gets hurt again, then thats basically it for him as a Raven.

Unless our targets are the same year in and year out, he should be doing this regardless. I know they have a busy life already and asking them to take personal time to do this isn’t required, but someone that works in any industry that wants to progress, does this. In sales, you work over the schedule time quite frequently. In salary you work over the allotted time. In hourly, you (try to) work over the allotted time. If QBs are going to be making double all the positions and receivers are going to be making these ridiculous amounts, they need to be held to a higher standard in the offseason. Why does Crabtree remind me of that slightly older guy at every job that you look at and think, “he probably used to be a pimp before he did this” and everyone whispers stories about how he’s mysterious and takes extra long lunches and then you think, “he probably still is a pimp.”?? When they quote him as saying “Smooth. Finesse. That Deep Ball. I haven’t seen nothing like it.” This is what I see...
