Again, you can’t project injuries. When he was healthy year 1 he was a top 8 OG according to PFF.   And he wasn’t the RG he was the LG.

Nah, we had Max at LG and Leary at RG. We actually improved up front when Leary went down and Connor stepped in.

I remember lots of conversation on this forum about playing him out of position. He wasn't up to the change. His play really exposed our RT. It's hard to make up for a plodder at RG. Problem was neither Max nor Leary had the physical tools to handle RG and that hurt badly.

I know you love OL play, but I think you’re being overly critical here.

Still have a man-crush on DT Jeffery Simmons even with his injury.. While I don't see him playing this year, he has the chance to make next year's defense NASTY. Dude reminds me of former Bronco Trevor Pryce, same type of motor. I could see him slipping to the 41st pick.

I could see Oakland picking him at 27. Stash him for next year.

Just doing some looking on players Denver’s bringing in for official visits prior to the draft.  So far this is what I’ve found.

Dwayne Haskins (QB), Drew Lock (QB), Dre’mont Jones (DT/DE), Josh Oliver (TE), Chris Lindstrom (OG) Dalton Risner (OL).

I wonder if they're looking at Risner as a center.

Could be.  Though I’ve read it appears the team is likely moving McGovern there.  Both Risner and Lindstrom are versatile guys who have played the interior and RT.

along with Lock and Haskins.  I clearly believe that we will be taking a qb in the first.  It may even involve a trade up if they fall in love with a guy like Haskins.  And you know what the more I think of it the more I like the idea of taking a qb in the first.  It appears that we may be able to take the qb we want so why not do it - when would we get another chance to be in the drivers seat with regard to qb selection?  We have a good chance now and all the smoke and mirror stuff about Flacco being the guy just got blown up with us hosting the four qb's prior to the draft.  Just get er don Elway - seize the opportunity and please, please finally succeed in getting that qb.   I would suggest taking the guy you like the least as clearly taking the guy you like has not worked - lol.............just a thought
