It's actually insane. Some of us are willing to give Goff credit for nothing but Dak gets his credit taken away because he's not a pretty boy California passer.

What's insane is people reading your comment and agreeing with you.

People criticize Dak and make actual arguments. This is what we have to answer to.

Stick to our team win/loss record. It's a much better pro-Dak take than us not liking him because he's not from California.

Oh and btw... people from Texas aren't super big fans of California.

I’ll give us 2 maybe even 1 more season to find out who comes out as the consistent veteran QB that can deliver wins.

We view him as a run option first QB because that’s what we knew of him from college. But we expect him to be a conventional pro-style QB like Goff. He delivers in key moments consistently unlike Goff, with his own style of football (it’s called a QB run Linehan).

In 3 seasons we have never dipped below .500 with Dak. Remember all those wonderful Romo days gleaming under the 8-8 seasons?  Oh if we only had a QB who could deliver in clutch moments ? Remember the dread we all felt suddenly when the 4th quarter against big teams and big moments?

Dak and Zeke have changed a culture.

when we have stats only we wants wins. When we have wins only we want stats.

its a endless cycle. I’ll settle for a winner

Or it coulda been Dak missing wide open 5 yard passes that kept our defense on the field the entire game? Dak does well at times but he also looks like a deer in the headlights as much if not more. A better playcaller will for sure help but until he learns to hit the short, wide open passes we will all be going ape tish for years to come.

If you want to put "Dak missing 5 yds passes etc.." on the list of reasons than fine. But that would be like reason number 10, behind some much more massive reasons.

We went 3 and out 2 straight possessions with the score very close where Dak missed wide open passes of just a few yards. If you want to blame the D go ahead because they do deserve some of it but when you are running back onto the field before you can catch a breath there is a problem. If a QB misses the passes he missed in that game I think the blame is deserved.

Of course Dak missing some passes hurt us, especially when Dallas had a chance. But remind yourself, how many opportunities didn't Dallas get on offense when our defense NEVER made a stop. How many less possessions did Dallas get, when the Rams were on the field running for an eternity it seems.

The Super Bowl had a potential GOAT QB and a scrub alike missing passes all day, it happens. but somehow when Dak does it, it's like he is the only one.

7-3 us at the end of the first.

20-7 them at the end of the 2nd.

23-15 them end of the 3rd.

30-22 them end of the game.

As bad as the D did if we had done anything on O the game coulda had a much different outcome. The Rams was held below their average on points and usually gave up 24 but we only managed 22. We was gutted on Defense there is no doubt but a ball control offense has to control the ball by hitting the wide open passes. It goes without saying that our D coulda done better but they coulda had a lot more help by our QB just completing termite football passes.

See, that’s the fallacy of only blaming the defense. Garrett and Co were calling running plays into literal 10-man fronts. The plays were very vanilla, very predictable, AND Quincy missed easy throws. Had he completed even a few of his none yard passes (or noticed a few of the WIDE open WRs downfield), the outcome would’ve been much different, even with the most predictable offense in the NFL. But, Quincy doesn’t have the ability to overcome that. We’ve seen it time and time again, but his supporters look for anyone and anything to blame other than him. He’s never held accountable for his lack of ability.

And how many additional opportunties did we allow the Rams’ offense to have because our offense couldn’t perform? It goes both ways. Yes, the defense was bad. But, had our offense not been so poor, then our defense wouldn’t have been on the field as often.
