Calvert28
Man the lack of backups we've signed is concerning. But good news is we can still sign sign Dak to a 5 yr 40 million a year deal so our season still might be saved.

DLaw to the Colts might look a lot better now seeing how there is not a lot left to choose from(if the front office entertained such ideas). We should not entertain that idea. You don’t let a premier pass rusher walk if you can’t replace him.

Pretty much. Especially when you've got Gregory suspended, Taco a dud and a bunch of unknowns. Though two first round picks would be sweet. atran35
I would be interested in bring back Benson Mayowa to compete with Taco/Armstrong. Move Crawford back to 3 DT.

WizardHawk
It’s awesome watching this organization sit on their hands again. It really is.

D-Law had 7 sacks in his last 8* games as a 23 year old on a team going nowhere, but apparently only tries hard in contract years. Also had two sacks in two playoff games as a rookie but still doesn’t come through when it counts.

A lot of people are somehow blaming DLaw for our loss to the Rams and citing that as a reason not to pay him. I mean you are implicitly too, right? That was one of the like 3 games this year where he got totally shut out on sacks/TFLs/QB hits, of which he typically collects several per week. And everyone who doesn’t want to pay him is citing the fact that he did nothing before 2017... even though he had more sacks in half a season in 2015 than any other Cowboys edge rusher has had in a full season since Ware and Spencer in 2012. If the 2015 season just never happened to you and you still wanna say it took him three years to become anything... well what should we expect from a DE we take at 58?
