TecmoSuperJoe
At least it's not at Levi's. 4th and King is gonna get nasty with Raiders fans invading. This is so embarrassing for the Raiders franchise.

Maybe its like a dictatorship thing and Oakland is trying to overrun San Francisco? Haha. Well I guess it could be worse for them.
TheKillerNacho
Jed York has to be pretty livid about this.

Get to take over another teams city for a year and piss off all the 49er fans haha. I hope this goes through.
TheKillerNacho
Kinda funny though that there will be a team playing in San Francisco this season, but not the one with San Francisco as its team name.
brooks1957
My take? An excellent plan.......... IF you are intent on destroying a beautiful BASEBALL stadium. The Raiders created this mess for themselves - now let them bear the consequences.

Im also very glad the raiders are leaving the bay area (for good). The giants drive a hard bargain, I don't anticipate the terms of this being very favorable to the Raiders. I would imagine that the giants will keep a large portion of food and beverage sales. I may actually go to a raider game this year now if the niners play MNF/SNF/TNF on the same week. N4L
@clarkfn2284 just posted in the niners forum that the niners will have to waive territorial rights to allow this to happen. So if Jed York doesn't like it, it wont happen. The raiders should just play in the Oakland Colosseum next year. I mean seriously.

Is this really going to make a difference? Closer and in the city itself is not really the same thing. Especially with the long history of hatred between the two franchises and fanbases. Reportedly, York has always viewed the Raiders as a thorn in his side regarding growth in northern California. He wasn't going to let the Raiders play in Levi's Stadium.. I can't imagine him being much happier about this arrangement. He wants the Raiders out and away.
