I guarantee fans on 1 fanbase will come in here and claim they will with their "MVP" qb. Not naming the team, but you get the hint. Child please. Danger
Real Talk, I think multiple NFC teams besides the Rams could have beaten the Pats last night. McVay and Goff just laid an egg.

Were mediocre in the 80’s and 90’s for the mist part. They’ve been good since 2004 but nothing like that. That wasn’t 18 years of sustained success. 49’ers were close but 5 Super Bowls to 9 in appearances. And they’ve been going longer still. Plus the amount of AFCCG appearances. And the fact that the Pats never went more than 3 years without a Super Bowl appearance And keep in mind a huge piece of that was pre the current NFL structure. Both were virtual Super Teams which can’t exist today. The Patriots are a combination of the Landry Cowboys 20 years of sustained success with the Niner’s Super Bowl pedigree with an extra ring and more appearances If you are talking SB wins/appearances, sure. But to suggest that a team that qualifies for the playoffs that often over that length of time - I'm talking about SF here - is insignificant because they don't win the SB (or appear in it) is seriously selling them short. Ty21
I’d imagine this is the last one with that much serious longevity but also the last one I want to endure. OP patriots have made for some really dull championships. It’s not watching paint dry. It’s coming back year after year watching paint dry in the same exact way. NJerseypaint
I think people are discounting how QBs are staying in the game much longer than they were in the 70s, 80s, and even 90s. Medical science is on a whole other level and I wouldn't be surprised if having your franchise QB playing past 40 becomes the norm.

ILoveTheVikings
I doubt it. Arguably the greatest dynasty in all of team sports.

VigilantZombie
Conventional logic says no. I mean it's possible did we ever think that the New England Patriots would honestly accomplish what they did? It kind of for a lack of better analogy requires all of your stars to be aligned at once. As much as most fanbases loves to hate the Patriots myself included you have to respect what they have accomplished. I do think that it's very possible and please understand me I'm not saying very likely I'm just saying very possible that we see similar success in the future. Having said that what team would it be I have no idea. I think a team like Kansas City and its current makeup if they drastically improve the defense could be a team that is capable but then again Andy Reid has never won a Superbowl so there is that. And in my opinion no one has ever been better than Bill Belichick and manipulating Talent on the field this team has the greatest coach in the greatest quarterback in NFL history at the same time. Will that ever happen again like I said very possible but conventional logic says no
7DnBrnc53
All their championships are tainted. That's the bottom line. The NFL owners are running a garage league. They let NE get away with murder during Spygate. NE Pats: 6X GARAGE LEAGUE CHAMPS!!!

I have been one of the most critical individuals at least in the Steelers fan base of them in regards to two particular seasons where they were accused of cheating. In one of those Seasons there was a lack of sufficient proof. In another they were proven guilty. Having said that to say that all of their Super Bowl wins were tainted is ridiculous. I will admit that I was not pleased with some of the officiating last night having said that they still won the game in the confines of the things they could control. Their first win against the Rams way back when was not tainted and I'm sure that we can argue that at minimum at least one more of their when was not tainted okay. I'm not going to sit here and argue against the asterik conversation to some degree but they earned their title last night
