DoleINGout Posted March 16, 2019 Share Posted March 16, 2019 as ive stated three times already. just another sign the broncos are going to finish first in the west. flacco is a bit of a wildcard but the rst of the team is so good from coaching to players. plus the chiefs only having pat mahomes, the raiders after the draft being a .500 team and chargers being sort of in a weird place after an embarrassing playoff exit and turbulent regular season filled with comebacks. We'll see if they are able to iron out an extension, but the injury is a non-factor, he was back to 100% by January. You always hear about how great he is in the slot, I just assumed that was what he did most of the time He does and like most teams Denver has lined up in nickel/dime on most snaps, but in base looks with only two corners he's only matched up outside unless a TE or RB is split wide. And he's excellent when he does play outside. He's just so unbelievably good in the slot (maybe the best I've ever seen) that rightly becomes the focus when talking about him. Both of our starting safeties played a lot of slot in college as well, with Simmons' experiences extending to some NFL games in the past two years.
