I don't think it was him getting cute. I think it was his philosophy. Looked for guys that had things in their life that made them high character and also had plus attributes for the position. Arms too short to play on the edge despite his great speed. He’s also too small to play NT or 3-4 End at the NFL Level imo. QW can play anywhere. 3T, 3-4 DE, 4-3 DE, even NT if he wanted. He’s obviously best suited for 3T, just like Oliver, just having a really hard time how you see Oliver as more versatile than Williams. It’s like you don’t even watch either guy. Agreed if SF goes QW, Jets aren’t passing on Bosa despite scheme fit. Same thing Chargers did with Joey in 2016. He’s just too good and much better than Josh Allen. Not sure where you're coming up with your theory. Multiple analysts have thrown out the comparison to Aaron Donald and that is based on his versatility and athletic ability.
