If there is a group that can get the most out of Rashan Gary I believe that the group would look exactly like Mike Daniels, Kenny Clark, Za’Darius Smith, & Preston Smith. A group of true professionals that will motivate him and show him how to put the work in.

Man there are a group of you that really don’t like that I didn’t like the pick. It’s ok. Guess what. I’ve been wrong before. I’ll be wrong again. I hope like all hell I’m wrong. I’ll celebrate my wrongness with you. There’s lots to like, if he hits his ceiling it’s a home run.

People can say what they want, but that’s a lot of size and versatility with Gary and the Smiths.

The nice thing about Gary is that he’s versatile. He’s athletic and big enough to play all over the front. Seems like a Mike Petrine pick.

Dont have any weight concerns with Gary at least............

Solid pick for the Vikings.  Clean fit, and immediately inject into that OL.  Don't see a ton of upside, but he's going to be a stalwart on the OL.

Interior OL... poor pick. I mean sure if you really cant find OL...

As I've said....I know nothing about the guy outside the general "production" concerns as he seemed to fall out of favor of a high pick.
I wanted an EDGE at 12 - we got one - with something of a bum shoulder (which is a bummer.....) but I'm all for him kicking *** for us and hope he does.

Yes it was.  And I'll be sure to quote you two years from now when Zimmer is fired because he can't maintain a top defense with no talent.

I hated the Gary pick, but at least it's a pick thinking about winning a Super Bowl.

Picking a center at 18 is high-fiving at the idea of building an 8-8 ball-club with good fundamentals and discipline.
