Because you can't have a multi-team trade unless all the parties agree. There's a "touch rule" that in multi-team trades you have to touch at least two other teams' assets. Right now, the Lakers aren't touching anything from the Hawks in a multi-team trade with the Hawks and Pelicans, so right now that would fail the trade rules. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
