Kiwibrown
Collins played well for us in 16, then after he got hurt was never the same, not the same explosiveness or top end speed since his knee got wrecked. Last year he was a wild card, mostly for our detriment. Will probably do better under bill b than gregg

sdrawkcab321
One of the laziest players I’ve ever seen. Shame considering his raw talent.

SteelKing728
Maybe there is an easy out of his contract if he's dogging it??
DawgX
Really curious as to how well this works out for the Patriots. Collins was clearly a talented player, but he didn't seem to give a crap 90% of the time.
nextsuperstar1
That’s interesting. They traded him in the midst of a Super Bowl run, purportedly because he was free styling and not performing his assigned duties. Now they bring him back. One would assume Belichick would only want Collins if Collins performed as assigned.
DoleINGout
Perhaps a defensive end more often than linebacker and Michael Bennett plays interior more often than end.

He doesnt bend well enough to be a de, he is a blitzer not an edge guy.
pnies20
Man I liked Jamie Collins... hes better than Adarius Taylor who the Browns have as their starting SAM right now 🙄

I'm aware if that but given the areas of depth on the Patriots roster and where Collins is in his career, a primary position switch may be in order this season at least as an experiment. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Collins is released at some point this season for a guy coming off an injury or Gordon with his suspension.
