Well. Today was the day I cashed out my BTC and ETH.

I made enough profits for a down payment on a home I plan to purchase in a few months.

Thanks Crypto, it was fun.

Congrats man, hoping to make a few extra on my handful of Ethereum shares I have to do the exact same thing!

I still remember exactly where I was sitting and almost pulled the trigger on 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin while the Packers were in the playoffs the year they won the Super Bowl and deciding against it.

Right around the time it was a dollar.

100 times 52,000 is margaritas on my beach house in Costa Rica.

I will never not take a 100 dollar chance on something I believe in again.

Ever.

Is Crypto taxed differently? Thought I heard it was but when I try Searching it all I’m seeing is the tax charts on short vs long term capital gains.

Ive bought 5 ETH so far and don’t want to be surprised when I owe Like 40% of my gains lol

You don't have to pay taxes on those 5 ETH unless you sell any of those 5 ETH.  It will be taxed at the same rate of any capital gains tax.

OMG I'm rich.

WTF is happening with MANA?

OMG I'm rich.

Congrats. I've never looked at that one. $.07 to start the year and up to $1.05 currently. Sounds like you got in early!

Makes me want to throw $50 into Dogecoin just in case.

I'm really not rich.  Just at about 5,500 in profit off Decentraland after that.

One of these days though.  If I keep throwing 20, 50, 100 into these alt coins at the rate I'm going, one of them will be my early retirement ticket.

I currently have 17 different coins ranging from half a bitcoin to 40,000 Dogecoin.

If 16 of them fail and one of them has the increase I think they're all capable of over the next ten years, it will all have been worth it.

What brokerages are you guys using to trade crypto? I dabbled a bit on Webull but it only allows you to buy the bid and sell the ask. With the crazy wide spreads on BTC that seemed ridiculous. Does Coinbase allow you get filled on limit orders at the mid?
